Operating The3-way Ball Valve |
The 3-way ball valve is the device that controls the flow of water from the pool to the pump. It determines how much of the water's flow is from the skimmer and how much is from the floor drain.
The ball valve is shaped like the letter "T." Turning the handle controls the flow of water. When you want to drain some water from the pool, turn the handle to the bottom drain ‘open’ position; when you want to vacuum, turn the handle to the skimmer ‘open’ position. This will give a 100% flow from either position. If you want 50/50 filtering, the handle should point to the middle position leading to the pump. To close the valve completely, the handle should point to the top where there is no hose connection.
*WARNING: Whenever you turn handle on the valve , always turn the pump off to prevent any possible damage. |

1. Test Often. The best way to treat pool water problems is to prevent them from happening in the first place. Testing enables you to compensate for changes in the water before problems develop, caused by bather load, weather, and other environmental factors. Test each end of the pool a minimum of twice per week
2. Proper Storage. Keep your Test Kit in a cool dark place. Too much heat, sunlight or freezing may chemically change the indicators.
3. Keep your hands Clean. Dirty fingers may contaminate the test.
4. Always Follow The Directions. |
