How to winterize your Kayak Pool |

Always start with clean water, vacuuming if necessary, then follow the steps below to winterize your Kayak Pool. |

1. Lower Water Level |
| |
- Turn off the pump.
- Turn the handle of the ball valve to the bottom drain open position.
- Remove the drain plug from the cartridge filter.
- Install the drain plug into the return fitting from inside the pool.
- Attach waste hose to the drain fitting on the filter so that water will drain away from your pool. This is recommended, however, the pool does not come with the waste hose for drainage.

2. Prepare The Pool |

- Remove the in pool ladder by loosening the set screws in the ladder flanges (cups located on the deck).
- Remove any objects screwed into the pool return (if applicable).
- Remove the skimmer basket.
- Install winter plate over skimmer.
- Clean Vinyl with Vinyl & Tile cleaner.

3. Prepare The Frog System |

- Unscrew side drain valve to relieve pressure.
- Remove cap.
- Unscrew drain valve in back of Cycler allowing all water drain.
- If the Bac Pac still contains chlorine at winterizing, wrap in a plastic bag and store in a safe place. Keep this and all chemicals away from children, pets and open flame.
Remove the reservoir and discard. Once activated by water, the minerals will hold their purifying power for six months. Do not re-use the reservoir the following season.
- Replace the cap and drain valves loosely.

4. Add Winterizing Chemicals |
